“Just” Jim Sassak is a native of Uniontown, PA and graduated from Penn State University in 1974. He took his first job in radio as the News Director at WMSG AM/FM in Oakland, MD. The knowledge he learned then brought him all the way to Welch, WV to be the co-owner of WXEE AM radio, starting in 1978 until 1997. He then brought his vast experience to WTNJ and WAXS as a marketing consultant. He has been a play by play anchor for sporting events and marketing consultant with Southern Communications since 2001.
